Sshrishti's vision is 'to create a literate and equitable society with every child and woman empowered to pursue their dreams' In its primary focus area of education Sshrishti provides holistic education and remedial education to underprivileged children at 7 centers in Delhi NCR and digital literacy at 6 centers. Sshrishti reaches out to women of marginalized communities through a program for capability and skill development and a Mahila Panchayat at Bhatti Mines which in partnership with the Delhi Commission for Women provides a platform for grievance redressal and legal counsel to women in distress. Its initiative in sustainable rural development seeks to foster livelihoods through ecologically and socially sustainable interventions. Sshrishti made a humble beginning in 2003 at the residence of its founder Ms. Sanghamitra Bose, providing informal education to 50 - 60 children daily and functioned there for almost a year and was registered as a trust on 15th December 2003.
